Ilhamar - Produtos Alimentares, S.A. was started in 1979.

It is currently a P.M.E. with a strong presence in internacional markets, working in its own facilities, with 2.200m2 of covered area and 3.800m2 of uncovered area.

The main activity is importing, processing, drying, packaging and marketing, salted dried, wet and dessalted deep frozen codfish, as well as its derivatives and related species.

The resources at its disposal are 5 refrigeration chambers (3 cooling and 2 freezing) with a volume of 2.800 m3 and 3 drying tunnels with capacity of 21 ton/52 h, give Ilhamar an excellent daily production
